ParticipantHi Daron,
What is your roadmap for this plugin for the coming years? Do you plan to continue development of this plugin?
Our license is expired but I see no reason to update it as there haven’t been any updates for years. Is there nothing you need to do to include support for the recent jQuery changes and PHP 8 to your plugin?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Daron,
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes the debug option was on and that one also printed out the “looking for template…” line. Luckily that could be turned off 🙂
I’ve noticed another minor annoyance. There’s an empty update message below your plugin in the plugin overview. See:
I see this is because you use an old updater class copied from Easy Digital Downloads. Why do you use that one without even changing the text domain to acf widgets?

ParticipantHello Daron,
2 months later, still no response. I would really like to keep using your widget but this issue is a blocker. Can you check what causes it?
Thanks!
Rick

ParticipantHi Daron, thanks for your reply. I’ve disabled all other plugins and switched to twenty nineteen theme. The issue is still there:

ParticipantI have a workaround now by commenting out line 97 of \includes\ACFW_Widget.php. The error you’re looking for is probably in that file.
