    Hi there.

I just purchased a lifetime license and I actually like your plugin a lot and think it works pretty neat. But I wanna use it with SiteOrigin’s Page Builder and that doesn’t seem to work. Do you have any information on that?

    Cheers

Andris, thanks for supporting the plugin! Unfortunately, you’ve discovered a long running issue with ACF and many page builders. The way ACF inserts it’s fields is unique in that it’s done with JavaScript so things like conditional loading work. However, unlike PHP, WordPress’ JS platform does not have the hooks and filters that we all know and love, so adding functionality is a very manual process.

The issue you’ve found is actually an ACF bug. If you disable my plugin, and then add custom fields to a default WordPress widget, you’ll see they don’t show up in the page builder. This has been a long running issue that we haven’t managed to solve yet. Unfortunately I can’t offer a timeline other than to say that we know about it and are still trying to find sustainable solutions.

If that’s a deal breaker for you, I’m happy to refund your purchase. In any case, I appreciate your willingness to give ACF Widgets a shot!

    Cheers

    Hi Daron

Thanx for the immediate reply. I’m sorry, but unfortunately this totally is a deal breaker for me. If it would be possible the refund my purchase, that would be awesome. Do you need any more information?

    Have a great day.

Andris, I’ve refunded your purchase from Paypal. You should see that credit shortly. I’m sorry things couldn’t work out at this time, but I’ll definitely keep you in mind if we manage to figure this out.

    Cheers!
